BUDWEISER TRAILER

My latetest addition to filling up Small Town USA is a Big Truck Trailer with a 'Budweiser' theme, it has opening sides (both) and an opening rear, all for serving the lovely Budweiser brew, The trailer measurers 28.5cm long x 5cm wide x 5.8 cm high, its made of a very hard ABS plastic, beautifully decorated with 'Budweiser' decals and scale wise its just about perfect, I would have preferred it if it was wider, but I can live with it.  

My terrain layout has two roads running down the middle of it with a meduim strip between them, it was too much space with not a lot in it, so, the idea of a truck trailer was birthed, when I placed the trailer down on the terrain it just seemed to fit right in, its nice looking, its the right scale and it filled the gap, I happy with the way it turned out, it will give players something else to run around or climb in the effort to get away from ever increasing zombie hordes. 

COCA - COLA, "ITS THE REAL THING"

Hi all, this week I managed to pick up some cool Coca - Cola accessories off ebay along with a ride on forklift, this stuff looks great and will add lots of character to the back warehouse of one of my convenience stores, that I will set up in Small Town USA, I picked up 10 crates full of Coca - Cola bottles, and ten empty Coca - Cola crates, the forklift came with a single pallet and seven crates full of the precious black liquid, I have also ordered another 10 actual wooden pallets to use as props, the pallets should turn up real soon. This stuff looks great and is in scale, extremely happy with this purchase.

 

GANG BANGERS IN ZOMBIELAND

So, I managed to get my hands on some Bobby Jackson Miniatures, I absolutely love these miniatures, they have so much character and attitude, BJ really managed to capture the feel of a LA Ganger, from the first time I saw these minis I knew they would turn out looking real sweet, very happy with this purchase, now some of the miniatures had sculpting flaws but they werent anything I would be worried about, still happy with this purchase.

 

These guys painted up a treat, nice crisp casting with deep details, this makes the miniatures easy and enjoyable to paint, I cant speak highly enough of the presence and feel of these miniatures.

So the storyline for these Gangers is that they were passing thru Small Town USA when the Zombie Apocalypse happens to occur... wrong place at the wrong time, its probably payback for all the crap things they have done in their lives as Gang bangers.

now as far as the ride is concerned I purchased for them a 1969 Dodge Challenger ...cause thats how they roll.

HIGHWAY PATROL

Small Town USA Highway Patrol, These are Tactical Miniatures with Jada 2006 Camaro Police Cruisers, the tactical miniatures are cool looking miniatures, nice poses with plenty of detail, the only down side I found was that there was alot flashing to clean up and strong mold lines, on a couple of the weapons there was also alot of grit molded in which was really disappointing, aside from this I was quite happy with these minis.

So these guys and gal will form part of the local Law Enforcement, I also have a sheriff painted up who I am currently trying to find a ride for, I do have another Jada vehicle in mind but we will see how that goes, the Highway patrol will assist the local sheriff, and believe me he will need it, small town USA will soon become Zombieland, I think they painted up nice, hope you like them.

UMBRELLA CORPORATION

What did you expect ? you can't have a Zombie game without the Umbrella Corporation right ? so here they are, armed with G36k assault rifles and sporting a 2006 model H1 Hummer, these guys are the Ultimate in BAD ASS !

did I here you say Umbrella who ? here is the low down:

The Umbrella Corporation is a bioengineering pharmaceutical company in the Resident Evil universe. It is a major international player in a number of markets including pharmaceuticals, medical hardware, defense, and computers along with more clandestine operations utilizing genetic engineering and viral weaponry.

You get that ? I told you they were Bad ass lol.

I was to scared to attempt shading black armour on the miniatures hope they turned out OK  :)

1970 DODGE CHALLENGER R/T SUPERCHARGED

This is a car that was pink with white strips before I pulled it apart and stripped it down to raw diecast metal, after that I proceeded to respray it and weather the chrome shiny bits to give it a more realistic feel, this will be one of the cars I will use in my zombie games as either a suburban prop, getaway car or in a campaign it will be a car that somebody owns, I think the matt black paint job looks cool, when I paint up a civilian or two I will repost it with the civs for a scale comparison, this is the American muscle car equivilent to Mad Max's Aussie muscle car 1973 Ford Falcon XB coupe Supercharged... we dont need another hero !
